Milestones: Earning Drivers’ Trust for 25 Years

Oil Can Henrys - Keizer, Oregon\n\nA few memorable things happened in 1989.”The Simpsons” television series premiered; “Batman” ruled the box office with more than $250 million in ticket sales; and (this is our favorite), Oil Can Henry’s introduced its convenient, thorough service to Oregon’s Willamette Valley.\n\nLocal owner/operator Chris Taylor opened his first Oil Can Henry’s center in Keizer, Ore., 25 years ago — on July 2, 1989.\n\nAt the time, Oil Can Henry’s was a small company with a few locations offering a unique stay-in-your-car service. And vehicles were decidedly less complicated.\n\nOil Can Henry’s has steadily grown over the years, earning a loyal following of drivers who enjoy relaxing in the comfort of their own vehicle and watching as trained technicians perform the oil changes and other vehicle maintenance services they request and appreciate receiving expert recommendations based on their vehicle manufacturer’s service schedules.\n\nToday, Chris operates five successful centers, Oil Can Henry’s services about 1,000,000 vehicles a year at 88 centers in six Western states, and Salem-area drivers get to choose from six convenient locations:\n

From Our Customers: Above and Beyond Expectations

Oil Can Henrys - Fountain Valley, CaliforniaI wanted to take this opportunity to recognize Wes and team at Fountain Valley. They have gone above and beyond expectations with respect to customer service.\n\nI’ve gone in for multiple oil changes, a transmission flush, and a few other diagnostic issues. They’ve tested and checked various components at no charge and were honest about it — which means more to me than saving a couple bucks from someplace down the street.\n\nHuge “Thank You”, guys.\n\n~ James V.\nGarden Grove, CA

The Easy Way to Maintain Your Vehicle Warranty

OCH CastrolCamEvery once-in-a-while, we hear from a customer who’s been led to believe that maintenance services must be performed by a dealership to maintain a vehicle’s warranty. That’s simply not true.\n\nYou can maintain your warranty with oil changes and other preventive maintenance at your local Oil Can Henry’s.\n\nIn fact, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act expressly prohibits manufacturers from requiring that consumers purchase products or services from a specific company to meet warranty requirements.\n\nOil Can Henry’s offers a wide variety of quick, convenient and thorough maintenance services, all of which meet vehicle manufacturer warranty requirements. Plus, most Oil Can Henry’s centers are open seven days a week and you never need an appointment. (Sounds better than hassling with appointments and drop-offs at the dealership, doesn’t it?)\n\nSo, when it’s time for an Automatic Transmission FlushCooling System FlushGearbox Fluid ServiceOil Change or other preventive maintenance, trust your vehicle to Oil Can Henry’s.\n\nWhen you visit, our trained technicians will explain your vehicle manufacturer’s recommended service intervals to help you make educated decisions about service for your vehicle – and keep that warranty in tact.

From Our Customers: Honest and Focused on What’s Best for Me

I came in for an oil change 3 months+ ago and when your technician looked up my record, he told me it was not time for an oil change.\n\nHe explained VW now specs (oil changes) on miles rather than months. I was shocked and so impressed that he was so honest and focused on what was best for me.\n\nToday I went in for an oil change and spent $234 on services. Because I can trust what I am told, I am willing to listen to staff recommendations.\n\nCongratulations and thank you for service excellence.\n\n~ Carol W.\nPortland, OR
