Soquel: Service, Service, Service

Oil Can Henry's in Soquel, CATrust your advisor at Oil Can Henry’s.\n\nI was presented with a report on my battery. It was a good battery but the advisor pointed out a concern about charging amps. I called AAA, which had installed the new battery 34 months ago. AAA came to my home and advised the battery will be replaced “under warranty”. Thanks to your staff for making me aware; it saved me from potential problems later and additional cost.\n\nThis is what keeps people coming back to Oil Can Henry’s. Service, Service, Service.\n\nMany thanks for job well done.\n\nBob H.\nSanta Cruz, CA

The Dangers of Driving with Low Oil Level

Low engine oilWe’ve seen a surprising number of vehicles arriving at our centers with low, or no, engine oil.\n\nIt’s our mission to help drivers get the most out of their vehicles by ensuring those vehicles run better and last longer. So, this is a concern.\n\nIt’s important to monitor the oil level in your vehicle because driving with little or no oil can cause severe engine damage.\n\nMotor oil is the lifeblood of your engine. It:\n

    \n
  • Reduces wear and friction by lubricating every moving part of your engine and removing deposits that can accelerate engine wear and reduce fuel efficiency and engine performance.
  • \n

  • Cools important engine parts your radiator coolant can’t reach.
  • \n

  • Helps maintain engine power and fuel economy by creating a seal around piston rings and cylinder walls.
  • \n

  • Protects the engine against rust and corrosion.
  • \n

\n

To help your vehicle run better and last longer, we recommend you:

\n

    \n
  • Don’t wait too long between oil changes. Most vehicle manufacturers provide two oil change recommendations, one for “normal” driving and one for “severe”. An AAA study showed that “more than half of all motorists follow the wrong maintenance schedule.” Learn more and see if you’re “normal” or “severe”.
  • \n

  • Take advantage of our “Henry’s Top-Up Guarantee”, which provides complimentary top-ups of oil, fluids and tires within three months of your last Oil Can Henry’s oil change.
  • \n

  • Consider using a high mileage oil if your vehicle has more than 75,000 miles. Older engines burn oil faster; Castrol GTX High Mileage oil is specially formulated to help them burn less oil, leak less oil and use less oil.
  • \n

  • Check your oil level frequently, such as every time you gas up.

Lincoln City: Furthering International Relations with Superior Service

Oil Can Henry's - Lincoln City, OregonMy husband and I witnessed the most remarkable professionalism by two employees at Oil Can Henry’s in Lincoln City.\n\nWe were visitors from Canada and had no previous knowledge of the company prior to requesting the oil change service.\n\nWe were incredibly impressed with the customer service we received (not to mention the cleanliness of the garage).\n\nThe two employees promptly tended to our request, and ensured step-by-step procedures were followed — including wearing hard hats. What an impressive safety standard they displayed.\n\nWhen we commented on what a super job they did, they immediately responded back with, “Our manager taught us well. He wants us to do a good job.” You must be proud of your accomplishment in terms of what you taught them in both business and the respect of the customers.\n\nTheir attire — sophisticated hat, bow tie and white shirt — was a nice added touch, especially in a business of this nature. We still talk about it with our friends, with good memories.\n\nWe would appreciate it if you would ensure both employees are advised of the positive experience we had at Oil Can Henry’s and how it exceeded our expectations. Hats off to both of them for a job well done and we wish them both the very best in their future endeavors.\n\nSincerely,\n\nMarlene L.\nCalgary, Alberta\nCanada
