It’s Car Care Month! Show Your Vehicle Some Love

April is National Car Care Month, a great reminder to take care of the vehicles you depend on. And there’s no better place than your neighborhood Oil Can Henry’s to show your car, truck or van a little love.\n\nOur quick, yet thorough Famous 20-Point Full-Service Oil Change includes:\n

    \n
  • Check of all fluids, including engine oil, coolant, transmission, power steering, and windshield wash. We’ll top-up all fluids except brake fluid at no additional cost; we don’t top-up brake fluid because doing so could conceal a serious problem.
  • \n

  • Check of hoses and belts. We’ll tell you if any are cracked, loose or showing signs of excessive wear.
  • \n

  • Check the battery and make sure the connection is clean, tight and corrosion-free.
  • \n

  • Check the tire pressure and tread.
  • \n

  • Check the wipers and lights to help ensure you can see the road — and other drivers can see you.
  • \n

\nNeed to complete some preventive maintenance, such as a Cooling System Flush or Gearbox Fluid Service? Don’t hassle with appointments and drop-offs at the dealership. When you visit Oil Can Henry’s, your technician will review with you the recommended service schedule provided by your vehicle’s manufacturer so you can make educated decisions about service for your vehicle.\n\nPreventive maintenance services available at your local Oil Can Henry’s include:\n

    \n
  • Air Filter Replacement  A dirty or clogged air filter reduces the amount of air that can be drawn into the engine, which can reduce engine performance. Replacing a dirty or clogged air filter protects your engine and maintains engine performance.
  • \n

  • Automatic Transmission Flush  Helps extend the life of your transmission by replacing virtually 100% of the transmission fluid. Watch our video to learn more.
  • \n

  • Cabin Air Filter Replacement  Many drivers aren’t aware that their vehicle has a Cabin Air Filter, which promotes a healthier environment in the vehicle cabin by preventing dust, pollen and other contaminants from entering the ventilation system. Your Oil Can Henry’s technician can tell you if your vehicle has a Cabin Air Filter and replace it if needed.
  • \n

  • Battery Replacement  Most Oil Can Henry’s centers now provide a free battery test as part of our high value service. If you need to replace your battery, we proudly sell and install Interstate Batteries. We also offer Battery Terminal Cleaning.
  • \n

  • Cooling System Flush  Worn-out coolant can create corrosion, leaks and engine damage. Our Cooling System Flush replaces virtually 100% of the worn-out coolant with new coolant that meets your vehicle manufacturer’s specifications. Watch our video to learn more.\n
  • \n

  • Engine Flush  Has it been a while since your last oil change? An Engine Flush helps ensure you’re putting clean oil into a clean engine. This service cleans out harmful sludge and contaminants from your engine to ensure maximum lubrication and engine life. Watch our video to learn more.\n
  • \n

  • Fuel Filter Replacement  A clogged or restricted fuel filter will reduce fuel flow and engine performance. Fuel Filter Replacement helps restore engine performance and fuel economy, and ensures proper filtration of contaminants that can harm the fuel induction system.
  • \n

  • Gearbox Fluid Service  Your vehicle has up to four gearboxes that play a critical role in the drive train, the collection of components that transfers power from the engine to the wheels that propel the vehicle. The special fluids in the gearboxes break down over time and lose their ability to lubricate, cool, clean and prevent corrosion. Watch our video to learn more.\n
  • \n

  • Headlight Restoration  Have you noticed that it’s harder to see the road at night? Do your vehicle’s headlights look yellowed or hazy? Your plastic headlight lenses may be the culprit. Our Headlight Restoration service can increase headlight output and visibility, and improve vehicle appaerance. Watch our video to learn more.\n
  • \n

  • Power Steering Flush  Helps extend the life of your power steering system by flushing the power steering system and replacing the old power steering fluid with new fluid.
  • \n

  • Serpentine Belt Replacement  Helps ensure safe operation of your vehicle. The serpentine belt drives several critical engine components, including the alternator, air conditioner, power steering, and water pump. If the belt fails, all these components fail, too.
  • \n

  • Spark Plug Replacement Does your vehicle have more than 50,000 miles? Have you noticed a decrease in gas mileage or engine performance? It may be time to replace your spark plugs.

\nShow your vehicle some love. Drop by your local Oil Can Henry’s today!\n\nNote: Some services, such as Fuel Filter Replacement, Headlight Restoration and Spark Plug Replacement, are available at participating locations. Contact your local center for details.
