Anniversaries: A Lot to Like About Grants Pass

But there’s much more to Grants Pass. This wonderful community also delights visitors and residents alike with a vibrant, art-centered downtown area; 20 parks; and a variety of annual festivals.
Grants Pass began to develop in earnest back in 1880, when the Oregon-California Railroad was constructed through Josephine County. Timber began to fall and foundation of major industry. As the city continued to grow and leaders looked to diversify the local economy, tourism became increasingly important. Today’s historic downtown is a fun, pedestrian-friendly atmosphere.
Southern Oregon native Chris Bixler brought Oil Can Henry’s to Grants Pass 15 years ago, opening a service center at 840 N.E. E Street. Just six months later, Chris opened a second location, 104 miles to the east in Klamath Falls.
Working out of their busy service center next to the Grants Pass Shopping Center, Chris and his team of knowledgeable technicians have earned drivers’ loyalty with their quick, convenient and thorough service.
